Dust suppression

Dust suppression systems are used in areas with high dust concentrations where the dust can't be captured by extraction hoods.

This is the case in delivery areas or belt transfers for example. High dust concentrations may also arise during transport or when loading and unloading goods to be sorted.

Areas of typical applications are:

  • Recycling plants,
  • Plastic treatment plants (EBS),
  • Paper sorting,
  • Recovery of recyclables,
  • Timber recycling,
  • Quarries

The use of dedusting systems binds the dust in the air with very fine water droplets. A controlled mist prevents the direct wetting of material and device systems.
