History of the company Schulz & Berger GmbH


1960 Foundation of Schulz & Berger Luft- und Verfahrenstechnik GmbH

1971 Dietrich Barnstedt takes over the company in Reilingen.

1992 Dietrich Barnstedt acquires the company premises in Altenburg ("Blechverformung Schmölln") via the Trust, during the reunification of Germany, and establishes a subsidiary.

2000 The company's headquarters are now located in Mannheim

2001/2002 Dietrich Barnstedt relocates the company headquarters to Altenburg and transfers the management to his son Dirk Barnstedt on account of his age

2002 to today:

  • Complete renovation of the administration building and the old hall
  • New construction of a production hall and the purchase of additional machinery, such as a CNC controlled water jet cutting system
  • Expansion of the machinery and vehicle fleet and the purchase of a CAD system to expand the service profile
  • New construction of an additional production hall. The total manufacturing area now covers 3800 m²
  • 2013 - Opening of a branch office in Hohenmölsen for the production of tanks
